Every household has a their own set of rules on child rearing but fundamentally all teens at some point or another, want to be treated in a more adult manner.  Teens get into mischief, the have boyfriends/girlfriends and some even have both. Bottom line, they seek to push the envelop and limits on what they can and can not do. In today’s hyper-sexual world everything is always under a microscope and picked apart, even the most innocent situations with the best intentions.

This entire Miley Cyrus debacle is one of them. 

Average 15 year olds don’t usually rock such glam and snazzy outfits but when you’re making millions, you’re not that average.

This to me is very beautiful and artistic.  For god’s sake she’s holding her fathers hand. As old as I am, if I’m out with my father I still clutch his hand every now and then or hold on to his arm.  You only get one father and as furious as he can make me, I’m still going to hold his hand, screw the onlookers.

On the other hand, I can see where the “controversy” could arise with the photo below.  Had she been 17 or 18, I’m not sure I would have had reservations but at 15 this isn’t “artsy” - it damn near could be child porn!

This photo reminds me of those absurd kiddie pageants where the three yr olds look as though they’re little play things.  Very sexual and come hither for a 15 year old. Those into pedophilia aren’t seeing the “artsy” quality, they’re seeing an overly sexual image of a young and impressionable girl.  Her parents and reps should have known better; these types of decisions can’t be left up to a child.  Since she’s stepped onto the Hollywood scene, she’s been overly styled, inappropriately dressed and made to look like anything other than a 15year old teen. 

Remember Hillary Duff? Now that Duff clan knew how to let that girl age gradually and gracefully.
