….still trying to get a grasp….
Basquiat’s my favorite.
I dig his shit.
Nothings ever straight and precise.
No neat lines and no generic bullshit.
Individuality and complexity all scrambled into one.
Some never liked him and still don’t; but the fucking fabulous part of that is - he wasn’t phased…. Between his dope and his work, he was wrapped up in himself. I love that.
It’s about to get ugly because I’m about to start dropping people real fast-real soon.
I’ve always been a loner and although this can sometimes put people at a disadvantage, I’ve realized that MY way is the only way. I don’t do well with people lying to me, using me and just totally disrespecting me….
If I give you a modicum amount of trust and you continuously fail me… then I have no reason to keep you.
You then become a fucking liability, and that, I don’t need.
Everyone wants to give someone a chance to get close to them. Everyone wants that opening to have something special and meaningful, but sometimes you’ve gotta know when to throw in the towel.
